This 8-day golf safari combines golfing experiences in Nairobi, Naivasha, and Mount Kenya with a safari adventure in the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. You’ll enjoy affordable golf on beautiful, natural courses where you might even spot local wildlife like warthogs and deer roaming the fairways.
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you’ll be received and transferred to the 5-star Windsor Golf Hotel & Country Club on the outskirts of Nairobi. If you have an early morning flight, you’ll have the day at your leisure and can even play a round on the hotel’s scenic 18-hole golf course. The course is lush and well-maintained, featuring several large water hazards and a sprinkling of interesting wildlife, from troops of monkeys to deer and warthogs, who all typically stay well away from golfers!
Enjoy a full day at the Windsor Golf Hotel & Country Club. After a delicious buffet breakfast, you have the day at your leisure to enjoy the amazing 18-hole golf course. Alternatively, you can choose to go on excursions in Nairobi (at an extra cost). Return to the hotel for the evening.
After an early breakfast at 8:00 AM, your safari begins with a scenic drive to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Stop en route at the edge of the Rift Valley escarpment for stunning views. Arrive at your luxurious tented camp and enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch. Later in the afternoon, explore the surrounding Masai Mara reserve, where you can see a magnificent collection of African wildlife roaming free over the vast savanna plains.
You have a full day in the Masai Mara. We’ve planned a longer game drive for you, setting off after breakfast and returning late afternoon. During your game drive, enjoy a lovely picnic lunch in the reserve at a designated spot, usually under a lone acacia tree with scenic views. Return to the camp for dinner.
Depart after breakfast for the scenic Lake Naivasha region, approximately a 5-hour drive by road. En route, stop briefly to stretch your legs and take in the views. Upon arrival, proceed for lunch, followed by time at your leisure to enjoy golf at the resort’s beautiful 18-hole golf course. Apart from golf, the resort is a great place to spot hundreds of bird species and offers a variety of activities.
Enjoy a full day in Naivasha, giving you enough time to experience the scenic golf course. All your meals are included. You can also choose to book an optional excursion to nearby Lake Naivasha (30 minutes away) for a 1-hour afternoon boat ride (at an additional cost).
After breakfast, depart for the famous Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club, approximately a 3.5-hour drive into the lush Central Highlands of Kenya. This luxurious property has a colorful history and is located right on the equator, facing the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya.
Arrive at the club for a sumptuous lunch. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure. The club has a medium-sized, 9-hole, par 3 golf course. (Most average golfers would normally just use a variety of long to short irons for this course.)
After a leisurely breakfast, bid farewell to Mount Kenya and proceed for a scenic drive back to Nairobi (approximately 3 hours). We will drop you directly at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your onward return flight.
